MISSION AND MOTTO
1Donya is an organization formed to serve and empower individuals and families in resource poor communities through vocational training, education, and health services.
Donya means “world” in many languages such as Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, and Turkish. 1Donya means one world, which is the core philosophy behind our organization, instilled in the following verses by the Persian poet Sa’di:
Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain.

Hope Library
A network of rural libraries that are staffed with skilled professionals to conduct early child education training and extracurricular activities.
GLOBAL TAILOR
A sustainable vocational training for marginalized women to produce appealing and everyday clothing for the western consumers.
C4C
Code 4 Change teaches computer coding to individuals in resource poor locations. The project uses open platforms to provide an interactive learning experience.
AWESOME BOOKS
Develops and distributes interactive audio/visual books in local languages that are focused on topics important for early child development and education, and tackle gender specific issues.
